Vacation Bible School volunteers needed!

VBS will be held on July 16-20, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Curriculum and activities are provided for our theme of Go Fish Praise! - where kids get down and lift God high! Help is needed in classes, outdoor activities, singing, snack, crafts, and more. Sign up in the lobby. (4 years through 5th grade. Featuring music from Go Fish along with Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, your kids will be movin' and groovin' as they learn that they exist to give God praise!)

Congratulations to Jordan Provost!

Congratulations to Jordan Provost, our Contemporary worship service keyboard player, on being inducted as the President of the East Ohio United Methodist Church Conference Council on Youth Ministries! Jordan has been active in the East Ohio Conference Youth Ministries for about 4 years, and now will help lead them as they empower teens with skills to be Christian leaders NOW as well as in the FUTURE.

Congratulations to Derek Varansky!

Congratulations to Derek on his new position teaching 4th grade at Tusky Valley Intermediate School! Best wishes on your new chapter!

Meet our new Youth Director!

Trinity Baptist has invited Derek Varansky to be our new Youth Director. He comes to us with lots of experience and lots of fresh ideas for our youth. Derek is a teacher at the Sandy Valley Middle School, and has been involved in youth ministry for years with the Nazarene Churches.

His first Sunday is May 20th. At 5:00 pm there will be a time to meet Derek and his wife, Heidi. This is open to all the church family and especially all the youth - regardless of age. Weather permitting, we will grill some hotdogs and have a picnic dinner outside in the pavilion. (Otherwise, we will meet in Fellowship Hall for pizza.) Please join us.

FREE movie night - COURAGEOUS! Fri. May 18, 7:00 p.m.

You are invited to a FREE family movie night for a showing of the movie COURAGEOUS! Free popcorn! Other concessions available for a small cost.

Viewers will find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children. Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous.

The film is rated PG-13. Childcare will be provided with their own movie, crafts and fun!

D.B.D. means Don't Be Dumb! Make sure your Mom/Wife/Grandma gets a card and maybe a gift for Mother's Day. All Moms will be honored at Trinity with a reception after church and a gift.

It's Not Too Early to Think About Camp!

Registration Forms need to be turned in to the office by April 20th in order to qualify for the Early Bird discount, which will save around $40 per camper for each camp. Depending on the number of attendees, we hope to provide 1/2 scholarships to each person attending. Our Camp Fund Drive will kick off the first week of May.
