Pastor Gordon is inviting you to his home for a Christmas Open House. He has always loved Christmas celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Since he grew up in Hermitage, Pa, he also loved Kraynak’s Christmas Land with all the beautiful decorations. He invites you to come and enjoy each other’s company, enjoy some delicious morsels (he will not be baking so you are safe), and enjoy the Christmas decorations. He has at least 7 Nativities and a pink Breast Cancer Awareness tree! His address is 5005 Clearwater Drive, North Canton (but he lives in Green). To continue our gift giving at Christmas, he encourages you to bring a $5 or $10 fast food gift card for Hannah’s House in Canton. They use them to take the girls out to learn how to order and for one-one on sessions. Cards from other restaurants like Applebee's, etc. would also be welcomed.

Christmas Special Offering

We will be collecting a special Christmas offering on all Sundays in December as a gift to support the American Baptist Home Mission Societies and American Baptist Churches USA initiative in Puerto Rico to “Rebuild, Restore, and Renew” the homes, churches and lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ devastated by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria. This effort includes rebuilding 114 churches in Puerto Rico. One hundred percent of donations go to the relief efforts; no dollars are retained for administrative costs. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a big difference for our Puerto Rican American Baptist family.

Giving Tree will again be decorated with hats, gloves, mittens, scarves for folks of all sizes, boys, girls, men and women. Also you may bring heavy “tube” socks (mid calf or knee length) for the men enrolled in the training at the Refuge of Hope. Hats and gloves will also be offered to the families who come to the Refuge of Hope for meals.
