Our ABC-USA missionaries are safe after the Haiti earthquake.  That seems to be the only good news in what has proven to be an utter tragedy.  Please pray and please donate now.  American Baptist  missionaries Steve and Nancy James  are working with the leaders of the Haiti Baptist Convention to distribute relief supplies and plan for additional responses.  Financial contributions are urgently needed for the purchase, transportation and distribution of more relief supplies, and for the recovery and rebuilding phases.  Medical teams are arriving from the Dominican Republic and the US in the next days as transportation is available.  More teams will be needed.  Thousands of dollars in One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) funds have been made immediately available to the Haitian Baptist Convention, IM’s partner in Haiti.  International Ministries, along with our HBC partners are conducting an assessment of the crisis.  Please check the IM website regularly for updates at  www.internationalministries.org.  It is time to put our words into action!
