Ministry Team

Team Leader: Brooke Kitzmiller

Purpose: Mobilizing ministry – personal and corporate.
Target: The Membership Core (lay ministers).
Ministry:

• Develop members into ministers by helping them discover their shape (gifts, talents, personalities) for ministry, and guiding them to find either an existing place for meaningful service that best expresses his or her gifts and abilities, or establish a new ministry.
• Facilitate the Imaginative Discipleship Training Institute Class 301 – “Discovering My Ministry”.
• Coordinate and support service groups.
• Develop and maintain a current ministry database (time and talent worksheet), containing a list of people and their respective gifts/talents/areas of interest; work closely with all other Team Leaders to match/recommend persons to support their ministries/events based on this information.
• Identify, develop, and support church leaders.
• Support and encourage Lay Pastor Training.

Supports: All other teams, the Imaginative Discipleship Training Institute, ABC Lay Pastor Training Program, ministry administrative expenses, staff allocation.
